Platatac Hutan HWC Alice Pack
The Platatac Hutan Pack is the perfect large pack to provide you an operational base to work from. With a medium back length, like an ALICE Pack or Platatac LRR Jungle Pack and made to fit to the 1606MC/ALICE Frame, allowing the utility of the standoff granted by those frames, with the capability of different storage architecture on the outer of the pack itself.
To a degree it’s a simplified design, with a permanently attached ‘brain’ style lid equipped with two large external pockets and a (mesh) internal pocket. On the outside of the main frame are two deep clip closure vertical pouches and a horizontally arranged zippered pouch that tucks under the lid when cinched down. On the outer of each side are mesh sleeves, for general equipment storage (or storing wet-weather gear or a shelter, etc). The main pack has a ‘roll’ type closure with hydration/antenna openings.
Internally, the main body features two mesh internal side pockets for hydration bladders, a large radio/utility pouch on the rear wall, and a flat mesh admin pocket on the front wall and a mesh divider to keep sleeping gear separated. The main compartment is closed with a roll top throat with two cinch cord closures.
The Hutan Pack is an external frame pack system and requires an external frame and strap set (sold separately) to complete the system. The Hutan Pack is compatible with 1606MC or ALICE frames, as well as several OEM frames.
* The Hooten Pack DOES NOT come with a frame, strap set (shoulder or waist) or other accessories, these can be purchased separately from the bags & packs accessories page.
